Human Head Fire Update

The fire started in the back downstairs area (NOT HH area) but it quickly got out of control. So the back portion of the building is burned through the roof (what you see in the WISC TV photo).

The front area of the building Did survive so the caboose and financial data could be rescued. The "Brain" survived but there was some equipment and furniture damage.

Yes, there IS Insurance.

The Office is not habitable but the security allowed registered employees access to the building to retrieve salvageable material.

Human Head's new office manager has secured them office space back where HH used to be. This is a temporary move until they get things sorted out but at least they are up and running.

Human Head Home Burns! No Injuries!

This just in from Madison Wisconsin's WISC TV News:

Firefighters received a call at about 2:30 a.m. regarding flames shooting out of a building located in the 1700 block of Commercial Avenue.

The multi-use building, which was once a railroad roundhouse, includes warehouses and offices for Apex Property Management, Warren Heating and a software company called Human Head Studios

When crews arrived, they said that there were flames shooting through the roof on the back half of the building. Firefighters tried to contain the massive blaze to that part of the building, WISC-TV reported.

Fire officials said that there are no injuries.

Police said that they believe the fire started in the rear storage area of the building. The damage is estimated at about $750,000, WISC-TV reported.

Authorities said that the cause remains under investigation.

Although this WISC TV story initially refers to the building as having been "destroyed", it later refers to the fire as having been "contained to the back" of the building, so what damage the developer's offices have suffered is not clear at this time.

Runegame Productions Website Update!

Runegame Productions website has gone through a recent make over. Giving more credit to the actual game itself, the website has been redesigned to a more "classic" Rune theme. The Runegame Productions Crew Slothious, dirty~bob, Phox, bRian, Leprosy, Phenom) hope you enjoy the new look!

While visiting, be sure to check out their "Maps (DM-AR-CTT)" catagories for New "1.00-HOV" downloads!. The individual Map's "Details" page comes with a short description and screenshot.

Phox's DM Maps and Slothius' CTT/AR Maps sections have been recently updated. But you will find many old favorites by dirty~bob, bRian, and Phenom there too.

Rune-Downloads :Shut Up and Download!

Yes, that is the full title of this new source for maps, skins, mutators and any RUNE goodies you might have missed. Sparda is the owner and mapper with a large personal database of Rune related files to draw upon as downloads for his site. His four man Rune-Downloads Staff consists of three other Rune Warriors who are also Mappers, Skinners, Weapons makers and more. But the staff is not limited to this number and you are invited to join this Staff if you feel you have the requirements.

This is not a "clan" or "Team" where you must continually contribute non-stop, however. As a Staff member, all you need to do is send Sparda files to upload into their proper sections.

ANBU Database for Rune CTT and More

ANBU's new ANBU Database has been created for RUNE 1.00 players to find CTT maps and others to download from. It also has the ANBU Rune CTT Tactical Squad forums to visit for any CTT Map information, requests and anything else Rune 1.00.
From the ANBU Database website, RUNE 1.00 players can access the OPC maplist and news on any upcoming events including possible Tournaments for RUNE 1.00 players.

CTT (Capture the Torch) is a hugely popular mod with both RUNE and HOV gamers, though. There are several places to download CTT maps from. BUT what makes ANBU Database important is that he has some exclusive maps not found anywhere else!
However, to access the OPC Maplist, registration is required to log in to view the commands for the maps.

ANBU is an ancronym for a group that specializes in tactical CTT and consist of a 4 member team whose identities are only known to each other. There is a code of conduct they follow and other members might be chosen for later missions. ANBU is also a CTT community, where here you will find anything related to Rune CTT games and any additional side projects. Updates will follow as events and news come about

Whether you play RUNE 1.00 or HOV, go over to ANBU's Database website to download what CTT (and others) missing from your maplists!
