The files are saved in .LOKI/rune/System/Nephthys.ini

Redirected works with 1.08 patch already with Linux. But its possible to do it over Nephthys too. But more details about that Zora can tell us for sure.

Yes. Normal log files default to ./System/ucc.log
All Nephthys settings (including IP log) are stored in ./System/Nephthys.ini

However, I wouldn't examine the saved IP log from the .ini file: Ask your server for the last 20 recent players sorted by decreasing join time stamp:
Code:
admin npt log list #- -l 20

Yes. Nephthys web redirection works completely indepently from the one of 108. Both co-exist seamlessly.

More about all commands etc. in Nephthys-Documentation.html (e.g. at my site, but of course also packed with the downloads).

Zora, thx very much for the linux version of Nephthys

I'll install and check it as soon as I find some spare time. And of course I'll give feedback if I find something to report.

DAD.tika, tyvm for giving it a try.

The final Nephthys V1.4 is planned to be published soon, so any feedback on the release candidates is very welcome.

Hi, I just installed Nephthys ServerAdmin, however I can't figure out how to change the default username and password (npt/npt). The readme says:

Quote:
Please change these default account data: Search for "[NephthysServerAdmin.NephthysServerAdmin]" in your Nephthys.ini.

but my Nephthys.ini doesn't have any information like that.

If this section doesn't exist, you can just add it.

Open Nephthys.ini with a text editor (e.g. notepad), and append at the end of the file:
Code:
[NephthysServerAdmin.NephthysServerAdmin] AdminUsername=npt AdminPassword=npt AdminRealm=Nephthys

Another possibility is to change a setting with a "set" command. That causes the entire section with all possible settings to be written to Nephthys.ini automatically so you can change it afterwards (again with a text editor). E.g. use:
Code:
admin set NephthysServerAdmin.NephthysServerAdmin AdminUsername yourusernamehere

Just one more question. Is it possible to run Nephthys Webadmin and the Rune Webadmin at the same time?

Yes thats possible and is "recommended". The nephthys admin does not replace the runeadmin and has not the same features. Nephthys is just for Nephthys and not for Server related options. Like mapchange and so on.

Greetings Firbel

Nephthys v1.4 - Mistress of the House.

Hi there,

Nephthys v1.4 is now publicly released! Nephthys v1.3 was released in Oct. 2006, so it was about time for a new version.

All older versions are now obsolete. If you still use an older version please upgrade to the new Nephthys v1.4. All settings will be preserved.

Thank you very much for all your feedback and help to make this mod becoming what it is now!

Feel free to post this news to your site (if you host one) and spread the news around.
Also, it's very much appreciated if you host the file at your site as a mirror to make it available from multiple download locations.

Nephthys is a native mod for Unreal1 engine based servers allowing for efficient attack blocking, banning, player logging and other features.
Nephthys also is a client-side mod to profit from web hosted downloads. Joining servers with custom maps/mods using Nephthys is by a multiple faster than without Nephthys.

For the complete list of features, please read the included manual.

Since (my account?) limits attachments to 100 KB (!) here's the link to my site with download links:

I don't know if this is true for all version of Rune but...

In Rune 1.01, when you install the CLIENT you must select both Nephthys Client AND Nephthys Server. If you only select to install the Client it will crash Rune when you click JOIN tab.

Why the options to choose server or client when you need both anyway?

i cant see why players out there not patch up to V1.01 soo they can use the nephthys, but if they dont want to thats to bad.
I closed all download from the servers so if thy want to join, they need nephthys to download from my web, no more lag from downloaders there wont patch up and use the nephthys program.

I explained in another thread why you should not use 1.01. To tell you the truth, you are starting to sound like HOV people. Scary. (no offense HOVers)

Zora, it would mean a lot if you could make Nephthys work with 1.00, but don't feel you have to, either way, thanks for getting it done for 1.01!

v1.01 patch fixes alot of bugs that are in the v1.01 patch, so why use a version which is more buggy? if its because germans and spanish have problems joinin the server they should buy a ENGLISH version of rune. instead of using the custom made obviously faulty versions
